FREE Compilation CD Thursdays at “Salsa on the Square”
(CINCINNATI) Based on the overwhelming response of Cincinnati’s “Salsa on the Square” event, attendees can now take a bit of their Latin music experience home with the first “Salsa on the Square” compilation CD. 50 free CDs will be given away every Thursday now through September 10th only at “Salsa on the Square.”

HIGHLIGHTING CINCINNATI’S LATIN MUSIC SCENE
“The Latin music compilation CD concept sprung to life with the goal of highlighting the amazing live Latin music being created and performed right here in Cincinnati. The project also serves as a gigantic ‘Thank you’ to the dedicated dancers and fans who keep the scene vibrant and thriving,” says Nicholas Radina, the project’s producer. “Coordinating 40 plus musicians and three recording studios in just a few short weeks was quite a challenge, but what a fun ride!” The CD features six tracks by this year’s “Salsa on the Square” performers including Tropicoso, Mambo Diablo, !ZUMBA!, Son del Caribe, Acapulco (formally Salsa Caliente) and Poco Loco.

ABOUT “SALSA ON THE SQUARE”
Started in May of 2008,  the Thursday “Salsa on the Square” event which is part of the PNC Summer Music series on Fountain Square presented by Gain, continues to bring record crowds and serious dancing. This free event takes place every Thursday from 7-10 p.m. Memorial Day through September 10th.
